Holmaskoia, dag # 2

After a freezing night, here we are :-) Our nice, however not heated room ... Some holes in the roof in addition to that :-) It was -17°c outside, so after a short ski trip, we prefered to take pictures of the inside. Perhaps the most important part:...

Holmsakoia, dag # 1

Tydal/Selbu, here we come! Time to get back to usual timetable: week-end = cabin trip! Not exactly walking: But rather skiing : ... on a pretty nice track :-) ... with some nice views: ... and wild prints: Getting further and further ... But that's right...

Snow walking ...

It was supposed to be more relaxing than skiing. The sun showed up, and Trondheim was smoking. Of course, walking in 40 cm wet snow was much more exhausting than skiing. But it was fun after all :-) Another nice Norwegian day ...

Ooops, we did it again ...

Sunday morning, about noon: Sunny sky among snow showers! Within five minutes, our new beautiful shiny car is eager to drive the fresh snow: we are almost Norwegian now :-) And some minutes later, sun is still here! Incredible! ... and we are ready to...

Langrenn i Bymarka !

Sunny saturday means "skitur" for all Norwegian people. Well, our group was mostly French, but it worked as well ;-) Bymarka tracks were our own highways ... except when we headed into the wild: Transhumance on the lake: ... and peaceful landscape everywhere...

Klæbu ...

... or a nice place 15 min from Trondheim. Nice weather, fresh snow: ... and tricky roads: But we sadly had to stay indoors because of some badminton issues ... We at least explored a new way back to Trondheim: Worth it!

Wild snow

6 hours snowing, 10h raining, 36 hours snowing (and it is maybe not even finished), that was not so bad actually :-) A rough estimation would give about 40 - 50 cm in our garden. And that was confirmed by the 15 min this morning + 15 min this evening...

Tomorrow will be a massive mess ...

Weather forecast on the radio this morning: "little storm this afternoon, full storm tonight, little storm tomorrow morning". In a nutshell: snow, then rain, then cold ... Not good, neither for skiing, nor for driving :-( Let's hope the forecast is w...
