Dag 10 : Moskenes - Valnesvatnet

Nos dernières heures sur le sol des Lofoten :-( Du coup on en a profité pour faire durer le ptit déj ;-) Mais bon quand faut y aller, faut y aller! Comme à vélo, pas besoin de réserver, c'est donc les mains dans les poches que nous arrivons (voir ci-dessus)....

Dag 9 : Nusfjord - Moskenes

Easter holidays - London (#3)

Sunday was a busy day, but we started up with a church ... Well, St Paul's cathedral :-) Hidden ! Next step was the Tower Bridge, that we couldn't miss. Yes, it is a blue bridge. Our plans ended here ... Improvisation along the Thames, in Southwark borough...

Dag 5 : Sortland - Grunnfor

Réveil avec un rayon (furtif) de soleil, ah tiens, c'est vrai qu'on est dans un camping! On ne s'éternise pas trop, le temps de faire le plein d'eau (et de gagner de suite 5 kg supplémentaires sur le vélo!), et nous sommes on the road again :-) Sortland...

Dag 11 : Valnesvatnet - Repia

Deuxième réveil (après celui de 7h et des pêcheurs donc), et on se rêve notre petit déj au soleil au bord du lac. Premère attaque en règle des bêtes, et c'est un signe! Bref, pour échapper aux guêpes qui souhaitent partager nos tartines, on se réfugie...

New year's eve - part 1

A la base on était parties pour un cabin trip classique, comme ça: ... après 2h de route gelée, propre à parfaire l'échauffement physique et mental :-) Le programme était simplissime: skier 2h dans la poudreuse très douce, trouver la cabine, manger toutes...

Vacances !

En avant-première pour nos lecteurs impatients, notre itinéraire à vélo: Tromsø - Mo-I-Rana, via les Lofoten, 817 kilomètres, 14 jours (dont une douzaine au nord du cercle polaire, avec soleil de minuit), et 1 jour de repos avant de reprendre le boulot...

Snøhetta skitur ...

Un skitur, et un vrai, suggéré avec enthousiasme par mon supervisor pour étrainer nos beaux skis tout neufs. C'est donc comme ça que tout a commencé ... Flashback explicatif : après quelques contretemps, le programme du week-end a été planifié de la façon...

Fjord du Saguenay

Road-trip pour toute la journée! :-) Depuis Chicoutimi, rive sud du fjord, puis on revient sur nos pas, pour aller chercher Tadoussac par la rive nord. Bon nous, on le fait en voiture hein ... Premier arrêt, la baie des Ha! Ha! (promis on n'invente rien),...

Dag 14 : Sia - Mo I Rana

Dernier jour de vélo! :-( Ptit dej avec au choix 6 minuscules cookies tartinés et/ou pâtes froides de la veille, et on attaque direct avec un loooong tunnel. Ô miracle, à la sortie, le soleil et un vent chaud, de dos, nous attendent! Y'a plus qu'à laisser...

Road trip to Sula!

Time to discover Norway again, and as a sunny week-end is forecast, sea/sun/ ... and fish are planned. On our road to Sula, on our race to catch the last ferry of the day, some minutes to enjoy Frøya's wilderness: And came the ferry: Plenty of nice islands...

Extreme skiing ...

I didn't actually know that was possible ... but yes, cross-country skiing can be extrem. OK, less extrem than ski jumping (there was a competition this day): Where is Charlie? But still! The weather was perfect to get tanned, but not exactly easy for...

Yess ... London was the main goal of our Easter trip :-) Using the Eurostar to reach the island, the tube & our feet to reach the hotel at 23h, and then our bed was welcome. And after a lovelyyyy (so british) breakfast, we headed to Sherlock Holmes'....

Copenhague le week-end!

Train depuis Göteborg le vendredi soir, mais le passage du pont entre Malmö et Copenhague s'est fait dans la nuit :-(. Week- end tranquille donc, sur le mode ballade sous 25° au soleil, c'est bien aussi de temps en temps. Alors à Copenhague, bien sûr...

On the other side ...

Nous avons enfin traversé le fjord, et après plus d'une année à admirer le fjord, avons enfin franchi le pas (et le fjord) pour arriver à Vanvikan, on the other side donc. Pas de topo de ballade, juste un vague souvenir d'une page internet (merci google)....
